As reported today by the NY Times, attackers have discovered an exploit in the Apple iPhone that allows the hacker to gain full control of the device and the personal information it contains. While no reports of the exploit have been reported, the attack provided access to any files desired, including recent text messages and e-mail messages.
Yikes! Given that the flaw is reportedly exploitable by Wi-Fi and malicious web pages, how long before the Apple Computer team releases version 1.1 of the iPhone software? Not long, I hope!
