As expected by most and hoped for by many, Apple Computer is now making their famous AppleCare protection available for the Apple iPhone. At a price of $69, AppleCare extends the base warranty for the Apple iPhone from one (1) year to two (2) years and also includes coverage for the Apple iPhone and the included accessories, as well as the soon-to-be-shipping Apple bluetooth headset and it's included accessories.
The normal AppleCare rules apply, so if you already have your Apple iPhone then you need to add the AppleCare within one calendar year from the date of purchase. So, if you were like me and in line on 6/29/2007, then you need to purchase the AppleCare extended warranty before 6/29/2008 (which will be a Sunday by the way.)
